Asian markets ended flat at the end of a lacklustre day.

The Hang Seng added 156 points to 22,554. The Nikkei was down 34 points at 9,770.
The Shanghai Composite advanced 15 points to 3,187.
The Seoul Composite, the Straits Times and the Taiwan Weighted ended flat.

The Hang Seng is up 24 points at 22,421. The Nikkei is down 34 points at 9,770.
The Shanghai Composite Index is marginally down at 3,165.
The Straits Times, Seoul Composite and the Taiwan Weighted indices are flat at 2,715, 1,572 and 7,666, respectively.

Asian markets are mixed this morning. The Hang Seng has added 138 points to 22,535. The Nikkei has slipped 52 points to 9,752.
The Taiwan Weighted has advanced 11 points to 7,682.
The Shanghai Composite and the Straits Times are down 11 points each at 3,163 and 2,715, respectively.
